Over the past 15 years, South Carolina Psychological Association has hosted hundreds of students, professors, and other psychology professionals and leaders at uts Academic Day Events. The 2009 Academic Day promises to be an even bigger event, including well known and recognized speakers, record-number quiz bowl attendees, and a graduate student panel discussion.
There will be atleast one student breakout session where a panel discussion on the different career pathways in psychology will be discussed, There will also be a faculty breakout session lead by Dr. Gil Einstein from Furman University on using cognitive psychology principles to enhance learning and teaching. I hour of CE credit available. There will also be atleast one General Session lead by Dr. Keith Campbell from the University of Georgia on the Narcissism Epidemic. 1 hour of CE credit available.

Einstein is a cognitive psychologist at Furman. He has agreed to do a
session for faculty on how experimental cognitive psychology can inform
teaching practices.

Dr. Campbell will be our key note speaker and will be presenting on narcissism.
