The South Carolina Psychological Association is pleased to announce that we have retained the services of Palmetto Public Affairs, LLC to assist us in developing and retooling our advocacy program.  PPA is a full service lobbying and legislative consulting firm specializing in non profits and professional and trade associations.    While we will have access to the entire firm’s talented personnel, our point person will be Coretta D. Bedsole who has over 25 years of legislative and association experience.

The South Carolina Psychological Association recently received a grant from the American Psychological Association.  Our state association was singled out for having a strong plan to build a better advocacy program for the psychologists in our state and the people we serve.  This grant is especially significant given that our state association received 1/5 of the total grant funds available for all 50 states.
